(NSGH) In the joyful spirit of the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord, on May 17, 2026, Chung Chai Mission joyfully celebrated its first Eucharistic Adoration Day on behalf of the Diocese. This was not only a meaningful milestone for the Catholic community in the mountainous region, but also a precious occasion for the People of God to gather before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, offering adoration, thanksgiving, and drawing abundant spiritual graces from the Sacrament of Love.

At 7:00 a.m., Fr. Joseph Duong Trung Phuong solemnly exposed the Blessed Sacrament, officially opening the Adoration Day. Immediately afterward, the faithful of Chung Chai Mission devoutly participated in the first hour of Eucharistic Adoration.
United in this grace-filled celebration were faithful from Muong Nhe, Hua Sin – Hui To, and Muong Toong Missions, who journeyed across distant and challenging roads to share in the joy and participate in the hours of adoration and the Holy Mass.

Throughout the adoration hours, the community gathered in worship before the Eucharist, praying that the Lord would grant each person a deeper love for Him and greater unity among one another, while also asking for peace for the parish and the Diocese. At the same time, the faithful prayed that through devotion to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, each person might overcome spiritual dryness and lukewarmness, and become more fervent in proclaiming the Gospel in daily life.
At exactly 9:00 a.m., Fr. Joseph, together with the faithful, joined in the solemn communal hour of Eucharistic Adoration, joyfully singing the Te Deum in thanksgiving to God for the countless blessings bestowed upon the Diocese, the Mission community, and for the favorable weather and peaceful atmosphere throughout the celebration.

Immediately following was the Thanksgiving Mass — the spiritual highlight of the Adoration Day — solemnly celebrated by Fr. Joseph. Concelebrating in prayer were the Sisters of the Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation, the Sisters of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, and a large gathering of the People of God.

The Holy Mass was celebrated in a solemn and prayerful atmosphere.
At the conclusion of the Mass, a representative of Chung Chai Mission offered thanksgiving to God and expressed heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Joseph, the religious sisters, and all the faithful who had gathered to participate in this meaningful first Adoration Day of the Mission.
May Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, who gave His Body and Precious Blood to remain with humanity, continue to pour abundant blessings upon the faithful of Chung Chai Mission, so that each person may grow in love for the Eucharist, faithfully follow the Lord in daily life, and one day share in His Resurrection glory.
