(NSGH) Amid the vast mountains and forests of western Thanh Hoa Province, where village life echoes with the sounds of flowing streams and endless green hills embrace the faithful communities, the Lam Xa Community joyfully welcomed flower-offering groups from the parishes and mission stations of Lang Chanh, Ban Thuy, Cu Mon, Dong Tien, Dong Phuc, and Muon on the afternoon of May 28, 2026. Together, they gathered for an inter-parish Marian flower-offering celebration in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, bringing the Month of Mary to a grace-filled conclusion.

In an atmosphere of reverence and devotion, participants journeyed across hills and winding mountain roads to meet one another at Lam Xa. Regardless of geographical distance or living conditions, all came united in faith, love, and a shared devotion to Mary, the loving Mother of the Church.
From early afternoon, the grounds surrounding the small chapel nestled among the mountains came alive with the presence of flower-offering teams and numerous faithful. Traditional Vietnamese ao dai, colorful attire, and vibrant floral arrangements added brightness and joy to the mountainous landscape, creating a festive spirit for this special gathering.
Accompanied by gentle melodies and hymns in honor of Our Lady, each flower-offering team approached the Marian shrine to present floral tributes that reflected months of preparation, sacrifice, and dedication. Every gesture, every step, and every song expressed the simple yet profound faith of the mountain people in their devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Against the serene backdrop of Lam Xa’s natural beauty, the flower offerings were not merely a cherished expression of popular piety but also a living prayer rising from the hearts of the faithful. They embodied thanksgiving for God’s abundant blessings, petitions for peace within families, unity among communities, and continued growth in faith throughout the mountainous region.
This year’s inter-parish celebration carried a particularly meaningful message of solidarity and communion among the missionary communities of the area. Faithful from various parishes and mission stations gathered as one before Our Lady, raising their voices together in prayer and song, expressing both their love for Mary and their deep communion with the Church.
As the Month of Mary came to a close, participants returned home filled with joy and peace. The image of flowers offered amid the vast green mountains continues to spread the fragrance of faith, charity, and hope throughout the beloved villages of western Thanh Hoa.
May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy and Star of Evangelization, continue to accompany, protect, and strengthen these mountain communities. Through her intercession, may God pour out abundant blessings upon every family, every community, and all those who faithfully live and bear witness to the Gospel among the mountains and forests of their beloved homeland of Thanh Hoa.
