(NSGH) In the joyful spirit of the universal Church celebrating the Solemnity of Pentecost, on Sunday afternoon, May 24, 2026, the faithful of An Thai Catholic Community, Dong Yen Parish, Thai Yen Deanery, solemnly celebrated a Thanksgiving Mass and the blessing ceremony of their new parish house in an atmosphere of reverence, devotion, and heartfelt gratitude to God.

The Holy Mass was celebrated at 4:30 p.m. and presided over by Father Michael Trịnh Ngọc Tứ, Vicar General of the Diocese. Concelebrating with him were visiting priests. A large number of the faithful from within and outside the community also gathered in prayerful communion to share the joy of An Thai Catholic Community on this special occasion.
Before the Mass, the congregation took part in a Marian procession and a flower offering program presented with great devotion by the flower teams of An Đạo, An Cư, and other groups from Dong Yen Parish. Amid gentle melodies and hymns honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary, each team, dressed in vibrant traditional attire, offered graceful and solemn dances as spiritual bouquets of love and filial devotion to Our Blessed Mother.
Following the flower offering ceremony, the faithful gathered around the newly completed parish house for the blessing rite. In a sacred and solemn atmosphere, Father Michael reverently celebrated the blessing ceremony and prayed for God’s abundant blessings upon this new building. The new parish house stands not only as the fruit of sacrifice, cooperation, and generosity from the community, but also as a sign of unity, charity, and the growing faith life of An Thai Catholic Community today.

The highlight of this solemn celebration was the Holy Mass of Pentecost. In his homily, the celebrant invited the faithful to open their hearts to receive the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to guide, renew, and enkindle the faith of every Christian. He also encouraged the community to continue living in unity, love, and zeal as they work together to strengthen and deepen their Christian life.
At the conclusion of the Mass, a representative of An Thai Catholic Community expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the entire community to Father Michael, the concelebrating priests, religious, flower teams, and all the faithful who were present in prayerful support and communion on this blessed day.
Although the celebration came to an end, the joy and grace of the occasion continued to remain in the hearts of all who attended. May the An Thai Catholic Community, through the grace of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, continue to grow in unity and faith, becoming a living witness to the Gospel in today’s society.
