(NSGH) Blessed Virgin Mary, today the faithful of Cà Mau Parish gather before your throne with hearts full of love, gratitude, and thanksgiving. United with you, we raise our voices in praise to God for the countless blessings He has bestowed upon each of us, upon our families, and upon our parish throughout the days gone by. We thank you, dear Mother, for your gentle maternal presence in our lives. Though quiet and humble, your presence remains ever close, guiding and strengthening us on our journey toward the Father’s house.
Mary, we firmly believe that the journey of family life cannot be complete without your loving heart and motherly guidance. This Month of Flowers is also an opportunity for every family to reflect upon and live out the spirit of the Synodal Year: Communion, Participation, and Mission, following your perfect example of faithful obedience, so that God’s holy will may be fulfilled in every life and every family. We offer to you our heartfelt desire to preserve the precious gift of faith in purity, to strengthen our hope each day, and to deepen our charity in sincerity, so that together we may contribute to building up our families, parish, and diocese amid the many challenges and trials of life. In every fragrant flower of many colors, we unite our prayers and lovingly offer them to you — Ave Maria.
Now, together with the incense rising from our hands and united with the heavenly hosts, we offer to the Most Holy Trinity our thanksgiving and praise for the abundant graces God has granted us, especially for the gift of so wonderful a Mother. You are our source of hope and our constant support in life. Guide us, dear Mother, to live in faith, love, and trustful surrender as you did long ago, so that we too may find happiness in this life and, one day, rejoice with you in eternal glory, forever praising the Triune God.
Blessed Mother Mary, the light radiating from the Paschal Candle reminds us of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, your Son. Through the light of Christ’s Resurrection, lead us always upon the right path, so that we may not lose our way amid the temptations and snares of the world as we strive to bear witness to the Lord in our daily lives. Help the light of our faith never to be extinguished by worldly allurements, but instead to shine ever more brightly, leading others back to God through sacrifice and charity, so that the flame of faith within us may continue to grow and illuminate the world with the love of God and neighbor.
At the same time, we offer to you flowers of many colors — white, blue, yellow, purple, and red — symbolizing our daily lives. Into your loving hands we entrust our joys and sorrows, our worries and burdens, together with our steadfast fidelity, firm faith, and hopeful trust in the glorious future that awaits us with God and with you. Transform our hearts, dear Mother, so that we may become flowers radiant with the fragrance of virtue amid every circumstance of life. May we always follow your example, living in faith, love, and complete trust in God.
